Meet the Team
Brad is the co-founder and CEO of Sababa Health Outcomes and Analytics. He has devoted most of his career to entrepreneurship in the business-to-business, technology, healthcare, and investment management arenas.
In recent years, Brad co-founded or led the acquisition of Elevated Billing Solutions, Recovery Help, and Sababa. While serving as CEO of those three companies, Brad developed an intense passion for the Behavioral Health sector.
Prior to Sababa, Brad served as the CEO and Chief Investment Officer of Springcreek Advisors LLC, a California-based multi-family office, and he previously served as a general partner and the Chief Operating Officer for Pemigewasset Capital, a Connecticut-based family office and hedge fund.
Brad worked to build multiple ventures during his early career, including Aim 21, Incorporated, a software company that developed enterprise multimedia database systems for advertising agencies and their clients. After selling Aim 21 to Reuters, he founded Tailwind, Incorporated, an online resource center for entrepreneurs and small business owners. The American Towns Network acquired Tailwind.
Brad Fisher received an M.B.A. from Stanford University and a B.S. in Economics from the University of Minnesota. He has been a Trustees or board member of many fine institutions, including Saybrook University, Perrot Memorial Library, ARI of Connecticut, and the Purposeful Planning Institute.
Sydney Isle is the Clinical Supervisor of Recovery Help and Sababa Health Group where she oversees the training and supervision of all clinicians. She also participates as a clinician, providing therapeutic interventions to workers' compensation clients.
Sydney received her MS in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix, as well as her BA in Business Administration from Westminster College. She has over 25 years of operational and supervisory experience, as well as over 10 years providing mental health, workers' compensation, and substance abuse treatment.
In addition to her work with Recovery Help and Sababa, Sydney currently operates a private practice in Orem, Utah, where she sees clients dealing with depression, anxiety, and adjustment concerns. Prior to joining the Recovery Help/Sababa team, Sydney worked as a senior consultant and executive coach for a leadership training and development firm. She also served her community working at an inpatient psychiatric hospital by marketing its services to healthcare providers and performing onsite crisis assessments. She began her career as a counselor working in an inpatient setting providing individual and group therapy to women with chemical dependence, and also supervised the providers of a therapeutic daycare program for the children of the residents.
Sydney is passionate about providing and teaching tools to help her clients, and those she supervises gain insight into what's working, what's getting in the way, and how to gain traction to move toward personal and professional goals.
Joe Van Winkle
Joe Van Winkle is the Clinical Director of Recovery Help and Sababa Health Group where he oversees the development, implementation, and operation of all therapeutic programs.
He received his Master’s of Science degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Northwest Nazarene University and has nearly 20 years of experience providing mental health, workers compensation, and addictions treatments.
Prior to joining Recovery Help and Sababa, Joe was the clinical director and owner of three outpatient mental health clinics. He has served on numerous mental health panels for local, state, and national organizations. Joe has also written articles published in peer reviewed professional journals and has been a frequent speaker for multiple professional association conferences. He has taught clinical skills, internship classes, and guest lectured at several graduate counseling programs. Joe has a passion for ethical, evidence-based treatment that transforms the lives of individuals, families, and injured workers in the communities he serves.
Dr. Primack is one of the founding physicians of Colorado Rehabilitation & Occupational Medicine, Colorado’s most established physiatry practice, where he currently treats athletes, injured workers, and people with neurological and musculoskeletal conditions.
Dr. Primack is a graduate of the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences, with a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation from the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, and board certifications from the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He currently serves as Medical Director for the Colorado Special Olympics and Senior Clinical Instructor for the School of Public Health, University of Colorado School of Health Sciences.
COO & General Counsel
Deborah Biggs is the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel for Sababa Health Group (Sababa).
Ms. Biggs has worked for over twenty years in health care and higher education in consulting for large Public Academic Medical Centers (AMC) and a start-up medical school. She is a health lawyer with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, the regulatory framework across an AMC, governance models, funds flow, and policy and procedure development and deployment. Deborah is highly experienced in management, transformative development, implementation, and performance improvement of organizations and programs.
Prior to joining Sababa, Deborah was a Senior Director in the AMC practice at Huron Consulting. Before her role at Huron, she served as the Senior Associate Dean and COO for the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. In this position, she was responsible for all administrative operations, including finance, human resources, information technology, facilities, compliance, legal, marketing, communications, and risk management. Deborah served in a similar role for a new start-up medical school, Central Michigan University College of Medicine, and was a team lead in the successful accreditation of the school. Prior to her most recent positions, she worked at the University of Michigan Medical School and University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill Medical School for more than 17 years.
Ms. Biggs received a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from the James Madison College of Michigan State University. She received her Juris Doctorate from the Thomas Cooley Law School.
Chief Sales Officer
Dan is the Chief Sales Officer at COMT. In this role he leads the business development strategy, as well as channel development nationally.
Prior to joining COMT, Dan has been instrumental the past 10 years growing revenue and client success at Healthcare IT growth companies in Medication Therapy Management, Consumer Healthcare Transparency, and Healthcare Compliance.
For 15 years prior to helping entrepreneurial companies in Healthcare, Dan was a top producer in Institutional Equity Sales at J.C. Bradford, Credit Suisse, Jefferies, and BB&T Capital Markets. Dan provided equity research distribution, capital raises, and provided communication and relationship building for publicly traded companies and their management teams across industries with mutual, hedge, and pension funds in the Midwest, West Coast, and Boston and Philadelphia.
Dan began a career in development with Procter and Gamble, and Prentice Hall, a division of Gulf & Western. He is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and The Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.
Katie serves as an Analyst for Sababa Health Group and is also involved in Human Resources and Marketing operations.
Katie received her Bachelor of Science in Biology, Health and Society from the University of Michigan. She has prior work experience in clinical healthcare and has been in the Workers’ Compensation sector for almost a year. Katie is passionate about serving injured workers and mobilizing Sababa Health Group to bring the best possible care to them.
Glenn W. Primack, with twenty-plus years of investment experience, currently serves as the analyst on two long/short equity strategies.
Glenn served as senior analyst at Peak6/Achievement Asset Management. He was co-manager of the FMI Focus Fund and co-founded Broadview Advisors, where he also served as Executive Vice President. Glenn began his career in financial services as an award-winning sell-side analyst covering distributors at Cleary, Gull, Reiland, and McDevitt.
Glenn holds a Bachelor of Arts in business economics and Spanish from The Colorado College and an MBA from The University of Chicago. He is also a member of the Mayo Clinic Leadership Council.
Director of Customer Success
Sylvia is the Director of Customer Success for COMT. Whenever a new client implements COMT, she ensures the transition is as easy as possible for providers, and support staff.
She explains, "Anytime a provider does something new that can affect how their office operates it can be stressful. I have walked in their shoes and am extremely confident in being able to make a smooth transition. Our clients are pleasantly surprised at how effortless and uncomplicated it is to implement COMT into their practice. I love helping the staff and the providers get to their perfect comfort level in using COMT to help their practice and their valued patients."
Sylvia has spent her entire career in the workers comp industry. She spent many years as a case manager assisting providers and administrators ensuring the smooth flow of workers' compensation cases come to completion. She has worked in the Occupational Clinics in various roles, including corporate training. She has assisted medical support personnel for one of the largest worker's compensation providers in the US.
She successfully taught new hires on company systems, policies ,and procedures. She has also worked alongside founder Dr. Scott Primack at Colorado Rehabilitation and Occupational Medicine since 2009. What made Sylvia extremely effective in her position was her ability to communicate with providers, patients, nurse case managers, and other medical personnel. As Dr. Primack’s assistant, he taught her the importance of measuring patient outcomes.
Sylvia graduated from Lake County High School. She loves spending time with her husband, family and friends. She is very involved in her church in the Denver suburbs and loves doing Bible studies with strangers, making new friends, and loves to help with outreach in her church community.
